2007 triton diesel 45000k service

This seems insanely expensive - Just got our Triton serviced, and BASE 45000k service is $1400?? (Apparently because of the labor involved!!?)

Total cost $1900 (breaks apparently needed to be done)

Told them to get f**ked....got a call back 10minutes later $1590...will never use "them" again.

Holy Crap !! I have a 2005 Navara and the majors 40k, 80k, 120k ect done by a Nissan dealer, were about $1000. My brakes haven't been touched in 130k what was the issue?

breaks needed machining+new pads...after discount, labor (4hours) $800

mate i go to my local brakes plus store for all my log book service,my 40 000 was quoted $900 from mazda and these blokes done it for $400..same for the wifes car $400 for a service and these blokes done it for $140 mind you these cars are both still under factory warranty and log books stamped.big difference

Cost me $930 for my 45k service on my triton two yrs ago from the dealer I bought it from. I thought that was a bit steep. Had the 100k service done today by my local mech and it cost $410 including parts and labour.

Ouch that hurts, was quoted 900-$1200 (10% of its value) for the 80k on the Jackaroo from 4 different service points, ended up at QDAD in Wacol for around $450, at least they dont upsell like every one else that has done a service, place at Carindale told me my brakes needed doing 30k ago, robbers.

Yep, I was certainly spanked...not happy!

Anyone know of a good mechanic on the GoldCoast (Prefer somewhere near Ashmore/Southport/Bundall)

Just interested . Did any of you guys with the Tritons get capped price servicing with them ?. Maybe it only comes with some models . My Challenger has it . Makes a big difference with a diesel .
