tournament photos
every bass tournament photo i see of late is of an angler holding the fish one handed by the jaw. sizable weighty ones too. I was just wondering if bass had gotten used to this treatment? whether they may have evolved some type of steel jaw or something. seems every one of them is doing it now. Makes an awesome photo doesn't it!!!
Maybe I'm overreacting but these guys have a lot of influence out there so would have thought they would employ best practice handling.

Re: tournament photos
I think these guys are more interested in their points and ego boosts than the care of the fish in hand. Still see a lot of guys that should know better hoisting large fish with lip grippers.

Re: tournament photos
i always support the body of a fish whether its a big impoundment barra or a 25cm bream.
And your right the pro's should know better.

Re: tournament photos
Hi Si Nagg is right I was in the States in november and went bass fishing with a guide , the mrs landed a nice 8lb bass and she was holding it for a photo (as you would hold a barra) and the guide told just lip grab it . So im with Nagg us in Australia seem to follow what yanks do .
Cheers Gav
