mt crosby weir issues
After this morning rain I went down to the weir and headed down to the bend. First thing i noticed was how shallow its getting down there plus there was no water flowing over the wall. My brother and i ended up with 7 little catfish between us at the end.
What was more alarming was a bass swimming up to the shore and getting stuck. It struggled its way out to deeper water. Then on the way back up we saw five 40cm plus bass dead on the shore. Why? How? Does anyone have some ideas??

Thats interesting no water flowing over the wall there should be to maintain the river flow, im wondering if that since theres been no real rain yet and the dam release was to much water let out so there saveing it up a bit,as for the bass there might not be enough oxygen in the water in the pools with this last lot of heat we have had or htey have died from bad handleing when caught and released.
