    Pedro's first tiger

    Hi all,

Thought I would share my very first tiger wrap. Colours are bullards metallic pearl, medira royal blue, metallic gold and bullards metallic aqua with medira royal blue over. I also used LYMPHOCYTE'S idea of a tiger fade for the underbinds and I am pretty happy with the results. (Thanks for sharing this idea)

I know nothing about rod building but have seen some great work posted up on Ausfish. Mate, that looks outstanding. How do you fellas get those binding designs like that?

    Hi There Mackerel Man,

We basically use and share ideas with other rod builders from all over the world and then add some of our own imagination to it .

Super work, amazing what you guys on here are doing , im sure many as well as myself envious of such nice gear.
Pedro do you source your components here in aus or OS? I imagine quality blanks and guides arent cheap.

    Re: Pedro's first tiger

    Hi Floating Rib,

A combination of both mate I have accounts with Wilson and Alps here in OZ but I do ocassionaly get some of my gear from OS, I do try to support local buisness when I can.
Price is fair but if you want to use quality gear then you should expect to pay for it, I am over using cheap gear for any type of build.

    Cheers
    Pedro
