You mentioned flatties ........ what else do you want to fish for ?
3-4" plastics will be what you need for estuary (1/6th & 1/8th) in a 1 or 2/O -
While light is good ........ fishing artistically can make the real difference

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

Awesome thanks heaps guys... Flatties to start with because they are a bit easier to catch on plastics.... Can you get Jacks on plastics too?
I can't think of a local fish (brisbane area) that has not fallen for a plastic for me or someone I know. Even Luderick succumb to a plastic sporadically for me.
Are you planning on fishing rivers and creeks or more open water adventures?
Jack.
Hey mate peep the zmans in 4" with a snagless hook set up, plenty of info out there plenty of guys here are killing it with the Jack's on placs
Hey mate I will be fishing the rivers and creeks... Mainly coochin and surrounding areas. Also picked up a pack of 5inch zmans scented jerk shad electric chicken. Hopefully the flathead like them
