sharefarmers cause a classic find

dodging the sharefarmers, I put out a couple of prospecting pots in weird places in the bay. Picked up one of them that was about 2 1/2nm away from any land, and it came up with mud crabs from a mud bottom in a spot that anyone would have bet was sand bottom

I wonder if the floods have caused some of the sand bottom to now be mud bottom.

Apparently there is a lot of mud in the outer bramble bay to halfway across to tangalooma area. One trawler guy i know told me monhts ago that the mud plumes behind the trawlers are pretty big in the area.
