New Years Donut

Went out this morning to redcliffe in hope of starting the year with a few nice fish.

NOTHING BUT A BIG FAT DONUT

Saw no-one else about, and not to mention very little surface action (usually fish jumping out of the water)

I do not know what has happened, maybe the fish made new years resolutions to not eat strange things anymore!

My first donut in a while, VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!


But yeah if you plan on going around the redcliffe area today probably give it a miss and sleep off that hangover!

We fished the Pine with not much better luck today, 2 x 39cm Flatties which went back in of course. Bloody wind was terrible.

Went out to mud this morning, Thought I had shaken the curse after a trip outside
Didn't realize Davo was at home with the voodoo donut rubbing chicken bones together

bummer yellowjack, but hey its early in the year got a long while yet.
Will be out on the bay tuesday/wednesday hoping to come tight on my first 2012 fish.
