Ningi Creek Greg,,, use the entrance up near the Ningi shops,,, there's been a few tourists there over the past week or so,,, so watch your feet,,, but a good spot to start your adventure,,, if no good there you can always head closer to Bribie,,, (my next stop would be Whitepatch,, the second/third car spot has a little boardwalk that ends up into a small platform,,, excellent on low tide as you can walk out a bit and cast into deeper water,,)

    Re: I feel the need

hey PinHead how did ya go?
I ended up at bribie this morn too went down to buckleys hole spent about 45mins looking around for spots not easy in the dark at 1am found one but then the wind picked too much and i packed it in there and went round to white patch took me a while to find a spot in the general area i wanted about another 30min caught a few undersize bream but once they buggered off i was on the whiting but they seemed to be moving around a bit which made it difficult plus ive never fished for whiting before, they are tricky little buggers. Someone told me not to strike at thier bites but i only seemed to hook them when i did and i found out i was tring to fish too light had to add some more weight this seemed to help keep good tension on the line to feel the bites and strike., pretty good along white patch there perfect the whole way along for whiting..Not that i would know lol but it looks like what i would hang around if i was a whiting.
It's just the vibe......oh and marbo
seems like there is 100's of places to fish from i always wonder what i might be missing if i was at that other spot just down the rd or perhaps the spot further round the island.
