Navionics Mapping Software-Imported

Gidday Fellow Ausfishers

Just would like to know if mapping software purchased from abroad is okay to be used on unit's (Humminbird) purchased in Australia? I have read from previous topics on this to be wary of old software versions being sold online,according to the Navionics website the latest version at the moment is V01.23 Q2 2011, any further advice or info would be greatly appreciated. Hope you all had a safe & pleasant xmas and look forward to bringing in 2012 with a FISH-ON!!

Check the version number with your proposed supplier, make sure it is the right area and that your unit supports the maps, you should get the the following info from them;

i.e V01.23 Q2 2011 NAVIONICS GOLD AUSTRALIA XL9 32XG for Humminbird Model XXXX

Version 13.24
AUSTRALIA
Australia, including Norfolk Islands.

I just updated it last week
