red claw lake barumba
Heading down to lake barumba in about 4 weeks and just interested to fine out about the red claw there, ( if any ) i have heard they are in there, but just read another post and seemed to think they have dried up.
Any suggestion or thoughts please.
Cheers Gav

Re: red claw lake barumba
I was averaging around 30 a day back in March fishing four pots. I had tried a couple of times in October and didn't get a single claw. Haven't tried recently though. May be this bit of rain and warmer weather might make them a little more active.
Definiately take your pots and have a crack at it and let us all know how you went.

As Mitch said there is a caravan park directly below the dam wall. I have never stayed there but it must alright as i've never seen it empty.
