Moreton Bay 27-12-11

Hit the northern bay from the four beacons north to Western rocks today for no result in the esky. No mackeral to be found, only undersized squire, cod and a yellow emperor. Plenty of boats about but did not notice one other boat with a bent rod or landing anything other than grinners. Water temp was not high I noticed.
Even the paddock between Combi Pt and Woorim did not have any activity worth investigating.

The swell north of Moreton was not as bad as expected but was still sloppy on top.

I hit the central Bay from Sandhills to Cowan and worked all the beacons inbetween without seeing any action. Perfect conditions to see any activity but nothing showing. Not even rat tuna or bonnies to have some practice on. Luckily plan B worked for me to put a fish in the boat unfortunatly it was not a Macky

I headed off a pod of mac tuna west of the beacons early then did a dozen or more drifts over the Neilsen for plenty of undersized critters.
