    Phenix PSW 760M

    Just finished this Phenix Black Diamond 15-40lb
    Used American Tackle Virtus Guides
    Pac Bay reel seat
    Custom Grips
    and a Rubber gimbal
    Didnt use under wraps on the Guides ..other than the stripper..
    Rod was Built for fishing LiveBaits under Ballons for Spaniards
    Willo

    Willo,

    Mate that looks great love the colours and the grips are awsome, I must learn how to get the grips like that its one of the things I have never looked into.

    Another cracker mate. I was going to ask how you did that pattern up from the foregrip but I don't wanna know!

    Just a couple of questions if you don't mind. Any idea on the difference between the black diamond and the ultra MBX? Why would the ultra MBX be for freshwater only? They seem so much lighter for similar ratings for example the UMBX-700XH-B is 7 foot, rated 12 to 30 lbs and only 2.9 ounces (82 g) and that compares to a PSW-700ML-B at 7 foot, rated 10 to 30 lbs but 4.48 ounces (127 g). Seems quite a difference in weight for similar rods?
    I'm keen to buy a couple of these rods but want to make sure I get it right.

    I have been using the Phenix Hybrid Blanks
    and this Last one I got was a Phenix BlackDiamond Saltwater.which I still havent used as yet..so cant really coment on it as yet .......But feels great on some pull testing
    So cannot realy help youy with comprasionswith the MBX
    But as far as The Phenix hybrid goes.. it kicks arse...LOL
