Went for a fish under a highway bridge at the tweed river last saturday arvo, saw a few fish busting up the surface and small mullet jumping around, so I chucked on a Squidgey flick bait in evil minnow 70mm in length, and just gave it a fairly fast jerky retrieve, to my luck got 4 nice trevally.

I haven't fished for about 5 years, and this was my third outing in the last month, so I was extremely happy with my catch, never caught anything on soft plastics before either.

Sizes were between 30-42cm, great way to christen my new rod too

But I was very bummed, I had to leave because 2 blokes and their missus turned up and saw I was catching fish, just pushed on through to where I was fishing, people just don't have respect. To top it off, slipped on the rocks, dunked my tackle box in the water and busted up both feet on the oysters.. Not pleasant.
