    Thumbs up jewfish/jewies

Are the jew still bitting because i was fishing a couple of months ago and i was getting jew after jew with my mate and now we just havent been getting many, maybe just the occassional 1 every 2 trips instead of 3-5 every trip.

the plastics we were using were 1/4 and 3/8 TT jigheads with 5" gulp jurkshads in the satay chicken, and the pepered prawn.

we also got the occssional jack

does anyone know if they are still on the chew??(jacks)

    Yep they are,
Living on the Sunshine Coast you have a great resource Swan Boat Hire, check out the latest channel 7 video on the website and there is some jew on their. In the reports there are many mentions of the Jew are on the Chew. I found out with my fish being 92cm on the 2nd or 3rd cast in the Maroochy River, you might even see me on there. Shame i didnt make it onto the tv as mine was not able to have a video taken as i released her/him. Yes the Satay Chickens are still the most productive im sure that will be changing soon so dont be affraid to mix it up. Just recently it seems that they have been not as common on the livies as i found out and other word i have heard. Even check out the local boat ramps and jew hangouts. There is some scales at the cod hole... and at various boat ramps. f^*& annoyes me how they are all kept!!!! Ha ill get over it just my way. Thank God to the 75cm increase in legal size it has made a huuuuuuuge difference!
