Buying Bloodworms - Wynnum area

I was shown a secret spot by a mate to catching whitting in the Brisbane river but need to get some bloodworms on the way there.

Does anyone know of a tackle shop close by. Wynnum is the area

I don't know of any bait shops but do know most of the blood worms are collected at a particular place at ****** but you need to go there at low tide and it's a long walk out.

i know at the port of Brisbane, pass the bird watch watch area you can walk out to get blood worms. It's just at the entrance to Jurassic pond with all the big fishes.

But hey, thats torture to the legs. Tower bait and tackle at mainly has some for $1.50 each. so i'm dropping by there to pick some up.

If all goes well i should be able to retrieve my crab pot and catch some summer whitting. If bad luck comes, there is always the narrange? river.

Just dig some up, dont be lazy, those arms are made for digging blodd worms, I can show u where to get them, 50m from where u park your car.
