Hi guys,
Been bashing my head in to start Yamaha 2006 Waverunner 1300... seems like there is electrical problem. There is some voltage to the injectors but not producing any electricity to the sparks.
I'm not sure what is is, it could be it's rectifier, I've put multimeter across it while trying to start it and I'm getting some sort of reading but not quite sure.
Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
daki

Thanks for that guys!!! I will use the resources you gave me.
The rectifier only does the charging side of things, what you got is something else all together. Alot of 1300 suffer from corrosion, if you look down the starboard side of your motor, you will see, injectors and whole heaps more electronics, without proper care, its a can of worm down there.
So you can crank? if you got sparks, then its fuel related problem, and if you havent got sparks, then you got ignition problem.
It could be a simple case of blown fuse or new plugs if yopu idels alot.
