    A quick flick before work

Took quick run back out to woody this morn on ski.

    Ended up with 2 snap. 40cm 49cm.

Mate also went out in tinnie and he got 3 snaps.

    Still there.

May try again in morn if weather ok.

    Cheers

    Heya Greg,

Having that 50cm for dinner tonight.. On the bbq stuffed with basil, cherry tomatoes, onion, garlic and orange over the top. Should be bloody awesome!

I ended up with 42cm, 38 and 35 today. Still a good couple of hours fishing and home before it got too hot.

Thanks for the plastic's, Shoot me a txt with the details and I'll grab some online... (For me, Dad and to replenish your stocks!)

I don't think there are hard and fast rules to Snapper, they are around all year IMHO.

Greg it sounds like you are in paradise being able to get a fish in before work, I could not think of anything I would enjoy more. I doubt it is possible for me to do that, so i think I'll enjoy watching you develop your newfound plastics skills instead.

Don't know about plastic skills, but yes enjoying the change.
Only disadvantage is buying these plastics and jig heads.
    Need another tackle box lol.

    Josh,
Bit of hit miss as u say. But I guess just being out is a bonus.
A couple yrs ago I use to get some nice snap out front margate. But nothing now.
But just been lucky lately .
Had a couple of the snaps on the BBQ last night. Best fish feed.

    Hey Greg,

Nothing wrong with snapper on BBQ mate, few cold ones and thats the recipe to a top arvo,

Obviosly you have cracked the pattern on them this year, right plastic, right spot ect, Few guys i know would had given up 2months ago,

Nothinng beats 2 and 3kg of snapper in 15-20ft of water on light line, espcially if they hit in on the drop,

    Cheers
