Started the session by going to my local tackleworld and upgrading my line to braid (thanks to the advice i got here) and picking up some new plastics.
Then went down to my usual spot and pulled in 6 Flathead in the first hour.
I was so amazed at how many bites I was getting compared to my first fish I got last week after trying for so long. (Thread - Flathead at Redcliffe )
Also somehow managed to hook a pretty big stringray in the tail that gave me the biggest fight i've ever experienced (my arms were sore after) and a pretty big fright when it was at my feet in the water. (the hook fell out when it got close and it swam towards me, was expecting a flathead )
After that a couple of boats started going past and I didn't get any more bites (was close to sunset anyway).
Thanks so much for the tips and tricks that was given to me on my last thread (it really works! ) .
Sorry no pictures from this session as I was by myself and didnt take any home.
Im gonna start venturing around the pine river and will post up reports so stay tuned! (if you got any suggestions of where i should start let me know cause i havent got that great of an idea)
