back 2 back donuts at mud

hi all, done it again. on a new run now - of donuts. yins caught up with yang or something like that. didn't even land a throwback or a grinner. 2 bites on the deadstick and that was it. took the pots tho and caught 5 sandies. livebaited the smallest for about 2 hours for zip and then lost him to a snag. was there from about 7.30am - 1.30pm. met up with mossy and coodgee again. hopefully they did a bit better. also met darren (salty) who dropped in, said gidday and then proceeded to share some of his mud knowledge and a bit of "what it was like 15 years ago". thanks for that mate. weather was nice and it was a good day out on the bay despite the fishing. aiming to have another crack at it early tomorrow morn. only way to get to the end of a donut run is to keep scoring donuts till they run out.

Don't feel too bad Davo. Me n Coodgee set up in the river to drop some livies for zip, got the call from you came over to the southern end hung out around there was abit hard staying on a drift without the lecky but we got maybe 2 nudges and one small grassy, few drifts and nothing but the sounder was looking good.. why not fish. LoL
After I headed past you we drifted mossy's and second cast come tight on a squire @ 45cm ... few more drifts and nothing..Coodgee got a few taps but nothing was taking it down....
I'm feeling bad now I can't seem to get coodgee onto a legal fish on the plastics. At this rate mossy's charters is going to go under, if you don't get 1 first time then the next trips are free

Mossy's charters is still good fun even though he is yet to put me onto a keeper I caught more squire at breaky creek on Friday night (1). That was a nice one that you caught though mossy. Gotta be happy with that.

Maaate do I know what your talkin about or what, firstly sorry to hear that your snapper run has come to a stop.
Davo the bream comp Saturday was some of the hardest fiishin Bretto and I have done in a while, not knowing the area your fishin really does put you behind he eight ball, it was donuts for tea Saturday night for us as well , that's fishin Davo, you just have to take the lesson and get out there again, was hard coming off the win in the Bass round though...
