    new crab pots

i am taking a mate (not a keen fisher) down the pine river for a plastic fish inbetween trying out the new crab pots.i hope i can show the wife why santa had to come early , and i had to buy the expensive aussie made crab'n'gear pots. Has any one been catching crabs out round hornybrook bridge/woody point area? any feedback would be great.

I was crabbing out front woody poi nt couple weeks ago and was getting 6 or 7.

Got only 4 last saturday, but tide was shocking.

I think tomorrow will be better but tidal flow will be fast.

I was crabbing front first yellow marker back towards land.

I am going out on my ski in the morning to chase snapper at woody pt.
Give me a hoy if u see a gold yammy jet ski.

    Cheers

G'day, went out for a quick soak this morning from deep water bend we bought home 10 nice sandies, didn't do that good out past the bridges, most were caught in the river around dohles rocks.

Also went out 2 weeks ago for the full moon and got 7 sandies in 3 hours where i usually get mud crabs. seems to be a few about :-)
