I have just bought myself a new Watersnake 44lb Bow mount for my tinnie. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what sort of battery to get. Does it need to be a marine battery and could you run a fish finder and motor off the same battery. Would luv any feedback. Thanks Summy
Go a deep cycle marine (or possible industrial if in calmer waters) battery in the 80-120Ah range. I use to use my sounder off the same battery but it cause some interference, so I now use a smaller battery for the sounder.
