Within the last two weeks 6 boats (water craft) have been stolen from the Kawana boat ramp area (and surrounding areas). A pro fisherman we do work for told my boss lastnight. He called the police and asked if they where cutting padlocks/ chains etc. The police said they can't reveil this information. My mates boat was one of these boats, I found out today. Also one of his mates jet ski's was also stolen. Both water craft where pad locked. There was evidence of a grinder used. They rekon it was done in the day (while at work). Also we did work for a bloke in that area who's sons unique boat trailer was stolen. A toyota cruiser ute seems to be common and suss, but not evidence as yet. So keep ur eyes out essecially if u live in the area. My mate is shattered. Unbelievable this type of scum bag is on the coast!
