Just after a recommendation for a good rod to match up with my 5500 abu ambassedeurs. Am fishing these with 20lb mono and 30 lb braid, mainly livebaiting snags for jacks and occasionally throwing lures round. After 2 rods and budget is around the $300 mark.
I just had a look at a abu veritas. Google them so you can see what they are like. They look great and have a 6-10 kg range. Price about 129. Very good rod and quite new on the market
