    have the Saltiga spin reels been discontinued?

    Got my hands on a Daiwa 2011-2012 catalogue yesterday and can`t find the Saltigas in it.

    really, i havent seen the catalogue yet. Who knows with daiwa mate, they have so many reels going around its hard to keep up and their catalogue is full of grammer mistakes and repetition which makes it hard to seperate equipment from one another. Plus they never had the full compliment of equipment in there either. strange that they wouldnt have there flagship reels in there though. maybe you got a dud version?

    Doubt they have discontinued the saltigas...


    I'm pretty sure Daiwa do 2 catalogues, they have a " Fishing Tackle Buyers Guide " for all the low to medium end stuff and then a " Tournament Dealer Guide " for all the top end stuff.

    They haven't discontinued the Saltigas. They are available only through 'Pro Dealers', I believe.
    Yeah, some women actually know a thing or two about fishing. Who knew?
