After the recent hot weather i thought it time to try for a jack. Went to a rocky ledge and cast an unweighted live herring on top of it. Not long after, this beast ate it. Only had 20lb leader so i consider myself lucky. Released to catch another time. Ben

I went wading the mangroves today and came across 5 or so jacks tight in the timbers, biggest was about 1.5kg or so.
