    best remote camping/fishing

hi everyone 6 weeks to go until i finish work for the year and head off to camp at styx river near ebor for christmas/new year for a little r&r and than head home the loooooong way via victoria, tasmania, south australia, western australia, northern territory, and queensland and have to be home by mid may. i will be towing a 4.25m tinny with my patrol and am almost completly self sufficent i im not a fan of camping in crowded camp grounds my favorite places in nsw are buccarumbi, styx river jerusilem creek and 3 mile dam on top of the snoweys. i hope to find many more places like these all over the country am hoping a few people can suggest some places.

ps i like to be close to any kind of water as for fish if it swims i will have a go at catching it oh yeah and the mrs is doing a blog if anyone is interested http://5monthsinaredpatrol.net/

Head inland and avoid the coastal exodus.
Buccarumbi and Styx, get in quick before the antimony mining begins........
Other options on that waterway but on the northern side.........
Other than that, Arthur River to Strahan and as far south as you can travel..........

Dartmouth dam and the drive in from the Corryong Benambra rd is an adventure. Good fishing but probably similiar to three mile.

Not sure Ryan, only a proposal by Ancoa to re-open the Hillgrove mine at this stage I believe.
    Hopefully won't happen.
90% Chinese-owned Anchor Resources propose a new Antimony mine at Wild Cattle Creek on the Nymboida - Dalmorton and Chaelundi were the other places I was referring to, some pretty wild stuff in that area!
    Cheers.

I found Fowlers Bay SA to be pretty backward with not much going on there. Loved it. Also stayed in Cape Riche (spelling?) down the bottom of WA. Pretty quiet during the time I was there as well. Also up the top of WA is Cape Keraudron it was pretty cool as well. Anywhere you go will be good mate. I am jealous.
    cheers Jason

Make sure you get a copy of the Fish Finder mag, covering Northern Oz. It has lots of great camping and fishing spots.
