A Awesome sport fish long powerfull runs and a real powerhouse
I don't know about sports . They are easy to subdue . Great eating fish though. Sushimi
However tim d did take A while to subdue his fish. I think weak arms. Lol
the thready's from the mouth end of the river and around redcliffe/caboolture/bribie are very good eating, well and truly up there with some of the best.
had a few from the upper reaches of the bris river and they were tasteless.
nice thready mate, been a long time since i hit the mouth of the river. will have to tee up a night sesh!
work to live , not live to work
I agree with timddo, they are quite easy to subdue. I guess they would be a good sport fish if you chase them on really light gear.
I'm like jacksnbarra, i don't eat fish myself but gave some friends and family some threadfin fillets the other week and everyone said it tasted great.
cheers tim
