I was up at Noosa the other week for my daughters wedding and I managed to catch a PB Jack over in Woods bBay early one morning.Just a tad under 55cm ,and was very happy.I was using a DOA shrimp in gold and caught it on my 7ft Nitro Vapor.I have only had this rod for a couple of months and have managed a 80 cm Flattie on it as well I was once again impressed with the way it handled the Jack as it is only a 1 to 3 kg rod, can't speak highly enough of it

mattooty I was probably lucky that I picked him up drifting through the moored boats in Woods bay rather than up near a rock wall or mangroves . The end result may have been diffeent.
