    Redclaw In Northpine

    Just wondering if anyone has been catching redclaw in northpine recently?. Was chatting to a guy tht goes fishing there this week and he tells me that pots are being stolen from there, wish something could be done to ecatch these arseholes!.

    P1000448 (640x480).jpgThey are starting to come back with the warmer weather. Was there Friday and got around 80 from 8 pots that had been soaking 4 days.
    This was from best pot of the day.
    Anyone knocking off pots wont last too long as there are security cameras at the gate and launch sites so its just a matter of reporting missing pots to the PRFMA and it wont take too long to sus the culprits out unless its locals launching illegally from their waterfront properties.

    Doubt whether pots are being stolen. They are very seldom touched. As Rayke said , there are cameras there. Saw Rayke's pots in the same place for a fortnight at least. Correct me if i'm wrong rayke.

    Nice catch there Ray, i am hoping to drop my first pots in there tomorrow, is the main basin the best place to try or further up?.

    Quite a few pots upstream but dont know how they are going. I have mine downstream in around 16 feet of water near dropoffs.
