First time out at broadwater - advice?

Hello, I am heading down to the GC on Sunday and looking to spend the day out fishing on the Broadwater. I plan to put in at the ramp on Seaworld Drive. I have never been been out there and wondered if anyone had any advice for me. It will low tide for most of the day so I know to stick to the channels but what about spots to fish? Will have the girlfriend with me and want some simple destinations where we might get a good bite on plastics. Any tips would be appreciated so as I seem to have a clue what I am doing

The seaway itself is excellent. Fish over the pipe if you can, lots of quality fish. Fish 5/7" plastics for best results.
Thats another one for the Punisher!

without going into to much detail flick your SP anywhere where you can see the deep channels and the sandbanks meet.
park in the deeper water flick SP into shallows and work it back into the deep. mmmmmmm love flathead.
they'll be waiting for the bait fish to be coming of the flats in the run out tide.....

look go to google earth, south wall of wave break isl, see the shallows run into the main south channel. work that bank....
