Does anybody know where it's OK to put in a 4m tinny in the upper Brisbane River? Also down at the junction, Goodna and Karalee? Are there too many snags?

Mate - if coming from Brissy go along Mt Crosby Rd and turn left at the top of the big hills into Tandera Way and then follow that all the way to the T and turn left and follow the signs down to the ramp. I dont know what the ramp is like since the floods. It used to be fine to launch my 16 foot Haines Hunter glass half cab - river used to be nice depth from there down...not there up!
Is that an advert that I see in your post or are you the fella in the vid? Are you a marine scientist?
Cheers

You can launch a 4mt Tinnie at Twin Bridges and fish from there up to Lowood Bend.

I fish because the little voices in my head tell me to
I think Kookaburra park is closed.

Thanks all. No, it's not me in the video!! Must be an ad...Is there a ramp at Twin Bridges? It's true that Kookaburra Park down Tandera Way is closed. Good to know that it's doable when it reopens. Does anybody know how the access is at Goodna? Any snags?
Cheers
There is no ramp at Twin Bridges, but there is a solid gravel bank that makes launching easy. No 4WD required.

As above , good access at twinies ( watch you dont get bogged in the gravel ) & look out for submerged logs just under the waterline .Certainly want to be taking it easy to avoid prop damage .
