bream fishing gold coast (SP's)

hey guys havent posted for a while been searching around the forums and just wondering im heading out tomorrow to try and get my first bream on plastics planning on using a 1/32 jighead #2 hook with a the gulp 2inch banana prawns. 4lb fireline and a 4lb fluorocarbon leader about a rod length. I know they hang around structure such as pylons, jettys, boat ramps just a question does anyone have any information as to where down the coast that i could find a canal or somewhere i can actually have a decent shot.
also just incase you were wondering im doing this purely just for fun as i love how bream fight and ill be getting a decent feed of flathead elsewhere.

Try the canals around the casino, normally plenty of Bream there, in fact any canal at the Goldy will have bream in them

the spots are endless really.

one spot that would be worthwhile is sea world drive, there is street just after marina mirage to the left that has a fancy resort on the southern side. There is fish shop on this street. At the end of the street there is a small jetty and a rockwall. The place is full of bream, some real big ones too.

tried today they just didnt want anything to do with me. so 3 trips ive been out to try and get my first bream on sp's but no luck as yet today was using a 1/32 with a 1# hook on these japan made custom worm shads a guy from sportys suggested only managed to catch a 29cm whiting on them somehow but yeah back to it if anyone has tips i will greatly appreciate it i am a landbased angler also tried a few canals i could see the big bream just they didnt take the plastic am i not waiting long enough?

unlucky mate. you will get one soon. im not the person to give you tips on catching bream on plastics as i dont fish for them but type in darren borg or dizzy bream and there is some great videos of him giving tips and techniques.
