Fishing and Whale Watching
Hey guys, doing a bit of fishing and some whale watching (for the gf) on Sunday and was wondering where the whales were hangin around in the bay atm. I was thinking of northern bay launching from ningi or redcliffe? Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Scott.

Scott we have encounted the whales around Hutchies, between Bribie and Cape Moreton and out around the 29's.

Surrounded by them at Cal 12 mile last weekend. Came within 25 metres of us while we were fishing and were in no rush to leave. Awesome viewing while fishing and we didn't chase them at all.
Cheers
Chris
PS. I find 10.00am to be their wake up time when you start to see them.

Saw a couple on the south side of Mud Island on Monday (24 Oct). The little fellar swam under my boat and flapped it's tail at me. Mum also swam under. Unbelievable! Never seem them so far in.
