I think you could have the wrong one mate. For digital readouts only, not for use with graphing fishfinders
Not sure about that 6 degrees either, doesn't sound like a number I'm used to seeing with fishfinders.

Well the maidon voyage on Sunday went good ,
The motor went great, and the angle of the transducer seems to give a great picture of the bottom thanks to everyone for your help. even at nearly full speed i was still getting a perfect picture of the bottom.
Wow the clarrity is absoloutley amazing ,just mind blowing even without the LSS1.As i have the unit mounted on a wooden box im looking right at the screen. With a bright sunny day yesterday i was totally shocked at the ease to read the data on the screen. No glare at all seems the $ 4 screen protector is doing its job. .after trolling over a fair bit of ground and seeing heaps of fish ,and playing with the palletes, and the the fish ID i wanted to match up the archs on the right side with the fish id symbol on the left side screen. With the fish id on i had to look closley at the screen to see the tinnie fish symbolsThere were some big fish archs with lots of Red but none were happy to smack my lure.
After returning to the ramp i noticed the transducer had moved and changed angles .it looks like a couple of rivets might be the go to hold it firmly in place.
Cheers Rob

Oh i sent links to the guy that sold me the unit he has forwarded the different types of p66 to his supplier to see if i was sent the wrong one.
As its hard to tell exactly how far a beam of 6 degrees shows.
Cheers Rob
