    Transducer splash issue

Is there a product out there that stops the water from your transducer splashing up onto your engine and into the boat at speed?

    HI SS
Not so much an off the shelf item but on my lsat boat I used to get a lot of water splashing up off of my transducer so the quick fix (which ended up being permanent) was to cut a piece of rubber(mud flap) square shape larger than transducer and mount/fix directly above the tranducer on the transom. This stopped all water being forced vertically and fixed the problem beautifully.

    Gidday All

That transducer spray deflector as it is called is exactly the same as the one I bought from my local BCF which had to be ordered from BLA and they only make their spray deflectors to suit Humminbird transducers only. Contact your manufacturer for your specific spray deflector type?

    Re: Transducer splash issue

That would have fixed it for sure Robo, no prop in the water equals no propulsion and therefore no rooster tail off the tranny

That photo was taken a while back when I was testing different heights for the transducer and had it down a bit too deep.

Quick glance I thought the rooster tail was one either side of the motor. But far out thats alot of water being kicked up by a transducer, I think you win.
