    What been happening over at the rous with whiting?
    Was going to take run over in morning.
    What has been best bait for whiting.

    I talked to a bloke at Wello ramp on thursday, they got 60 -70 in the Rous and half tide channel (not sure where that is).

    He was rigged with two hook paternoster style rigs, to avoid the weed. Not sure what bait he was using. But you can't go wrong with squid strips or Gulp sandworms.

    I got one on a 5" Gulp Jerkshad on the shallow of Harries, and heaps of bites - hungry buggers. So, I'll be fishing the chain banks if I get out there.

    Tomorrow should be a good day. If you want to spin for tuna, they are out there in numbers, but very fussy!

    I have had good success in the past on strips of bullocks heart cut thinly, we call it cannon hill bloodworm, also squid will do well but tryn the bullocks heart one day, cheap as..
