Sunday Snaps - GC 10th Oct

    Hi there,

Went for a run of the GC on Sunday, and with only two of us on board we bagged out fairly easy, ranging in size from 40cm to these two babies,

These were caught on both baits and SP, with equal results,
As you can see i was pretty happy with efforts,

hopefully the weather holds for the weekend,

    Fish Two

Fantastic catch..., Too Right Thumbs Up on this one! It's great to know that there're still lingering around. The weekend looks good. I can see another long sleepless night ahead, for most of us going in for the chase. Two fish, did you tangle with the larger bruisers just on first light.?
    Cheers,
    Gavin.

Top catch there Fish_Two what depth were they caught?
In my opinion this season has been very slow for snapper but they seem to be coming on quite strong now, which is great as the gap between snaps and pelagics should be narrow.

i did put them on the scales but not sure how accurate they were, but it did say 8kg,
we got them out on the 36s best fishing is always early in my opion,
and i think the snapper season has been a bit of hit and miss season with a late run, looking forward to the mac attack,
I think the new FADs might get a workout by everyone,
    thanks for the replies,
