    Early morning on the Pine.

Fished the Pine River early Tuesday morning chasing a feed of Whiting with an old mate. We dug worms previous afternoon and started fishing around 3.30am. Whiting were on from the first cast and all good quality. Headed home around 8.30am with a nice feed of Tings and a lonely Sand Crab out of the pots. Great Morning. Coochin.

With all these good reports from the Pine, it might pay to take a six pack down to DWB ramp and sit back and watch the carnage around 2pm on Sunday arvo.

    Hi Bermo82,
We had the pots in around the back of the rocks . Plenty of Muddies with 2 or 3 just under . Wasn't too concerned at least pots were still there . I figure that's a plus these days. Coochin

true story Coochin, at least you got all your pots back and a good feed of fish! We generally put ours on the left heading towards the bridge. At low tide there's a shelly bank that curves around towards the bridge, we ran our pots along that bank. Just an idea for you next time, as we always get a feed there!

    Cheers
