ID:	72432Spent the weekend on Main beach at straddie and had a very successful session on friday. they really came on the chew as the sun set and we ended up with 9 tailor an australian salmon and 2 bream, all caught in a period of about 2 hours. I have been working on some new techniques and with some new gear and rigs and it has been working for me. Pillies and salted bonito. I was part of a crew from the Redlands RSL fishing club and this was one of 3 trips we do each year to fish the beach. Its a great club and a great bunch of blokes, if anyone is interested in being part of a club then Redlands is a good choice.

Thanks for the report BayDog I am off to Straddy Friday week for a week and I am looking forward to a bit of beach fishing along Main Beach. A couple of feeds of fresh tailor would be very nice indeed.

Hey B_Dog - what are those hooks you have ganged up there? Pulled in a lost gang of them at Fraser last week and I haven't seen them before. Just a two hook gang by the looks?
