Bribie Island Whiting

Hi all
Just thought I would post.
Last week we saw some excellent weather and spent 4 days camping on Bribie ocean Beach.

The surf was almost non- existent and the whiting were out in force. Bagged lots and they were all good size. Only saw one Bream for the 4 days but it was awesome catching good sized Summer Whiting for a change.

2 glorious weeks off work starting this friday,,,,, (saturday,, sunday,, monday,, tuesday see's me in darwin,,,,,,) but then fishing time

Sounds like a relaxing few days, and how do you think they would go on yabbies?, feeding little bream worms at nearly 1 dollar an inch isnt my idea of sport lol..

I tried poppering them this morning at Godwin beach and did no9t sight a single one in 3 hours wading.
The bottom around there is still coated in a thin layer of slime.
