Hi all. I just happened on this site when looking for info. on Fitzroy Reef. I am skippering a 52' Riviera from the Gold Coast, and intend staying in the area about a week to do some fishing / snorkelling. Not sure if we will get into the Fitzroy lagoon, but we intend spending some time at Musgrave. I have been a prof. skipper for over 30 years, and now just enjoy doing the trips to keep busy, and have some fun. The best part is you can come and go as you want, if the weather ain't good, stay, who cares. My mate owns the boat, and I generally go with him on extended trips to help him out. I havn't done a great deal of fishing over the years, generally too busy working on board, transiting. This is very enjoyable, sitting back. Anyhow, that's me, and I hope to keep in touch from time to time.

welcome paul. plenty of info here and not hard to get out for a trip with someone if you are landlocked.
