tin can bay fishing holiday help needed

hello there.....thinking of heading up around tin can bay or a little further north....gunna take a 4m tinny with 30hp 4stroke .. just wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction on where 2 try and where not 2 .... thinking of going up in the next few weeks any info would be much appreciated

Mate a search will get you heaps of information. Tin Can is fine, just watch the chop coming back to Snapper Creek and Tin Can in the afternoon with a regular south easterly and a run in tide in a 4 metre.
Try Bird Rock, Teebar ledge and bullock point. Sneak around to Kauri creek, which would be perfect to take your 4 m up as it's shallow and rocky.
Might be some crabs around now it looks liek a warmish change coming through. Might be the odd jack, should be cod and flattie on livies or lures.
