Somewhere between brisbane northside and teewah beach would be handy. Sick of paying a motza for little bags of hardwood.

Bunnings had 20kg bags for $12 about a month ago.
Pretty sure it's illegal to take driftwood...
Just saying.
The best burning wood is white box and then redgum is ok too.
hey andy, have a look in the classifieds section of your local paper there's usually a few in there. our local firewood guy for home here at beachmere is bobcat steve aka the firewood fellas, he promises a red hot night with a 75 year old (iron bark that is) his number is 0419 685 889 and he was charging $170 for what looks like about a cube of pre-split iron bark that is as hard as rock and burns oh so nice delivered to my door. he might be less if you go and get it yourself. nothing tastes quite like bacon cooked on a griddle over old iron bark coals.
Thanks gents. @finga going on the 14th for a couple of nights. We keep the fire going the whole time so we have plenty of coals for the camp ovens. @PADDLES cheers mate, that might be the go. Just need quarter tray full in the ute, but might pay to get some delivered to my house. It wont go to waste.
