which model CENTURY battery for 55lb watersnake
hi all just need to no what model battery to get for my 55lb transom mount watersnake a mate is buying it so i need to give him which model .
i can get a real good discount on century batterys only, so are the marine pro 720s alright for deep cycling or should i get some kind of purpose built deep cycle

Hi if it is a century battery, you should get the C12 100DA or C12 120DA both are deep cycle AGM (absorbed glass matt) 100amp hour and 120 amp hour go to their web site and check them out ..... They can be fast charged and are the better type of battery for your use.. Eg a quality 3 stage or more charged is better to get best life and performance out of your battery .... A minimum charger I believe would be a 10amp 3 stage ( a 10 amp charger would charge a half full 100amp battery in about 5 hours or just say over night 5hour x 10amp = 50amp.... You can use a cheap charger u just won't get value out of your battery..... Hope this helps ..

thanks for that info there mate looks like im up for a better charger as well. my computer wouldent load there website last night but now i can see, helpful. thanks
