G'day everyone, the magnetic thread tensioner post hereabouts somewhere reminded me of my own problem. I have a home made lathe, works well. I never made a thread holder, carriage thing, I just hold the thread in my hand and away I go. How do the thread carriages work ? what do they look like? Are they useful? Etc etc, just thinking I might add one to my setup if they are worth it. A pic or two would be great.
