    bouy 12 mile ne mooloolaba?

    does anyone know about a bouy about 12 mile ne of moloolaba. it is on my navionics chart and I have a few marks on my gps that were given to me around it , is it worth a look? I only have a 4.5 stacer so some info before I give my body a workout would be great

    Hay Bundy ,
    You could mean the Northern Cardinal Marker for the Wreck of the HMAS Brisane.
    Which is classified as a Marine Park .

    this marker is about 12 miles out not the hmas brisbane?

    It would have been one of the old FADs. There are no FADs out there at the moment. Each time we put them out we do a Notice to Mariners. The Notice to Mariners are then incorporated into the electronic charts.

    The x-hmas is way closer in than 12mile. As smithy said the bouys come and go.
    Stop professional fishing... before it's too late!
