I have caught and eaten most of the fish on the list but in my opinion the Mangrove jack beats them all.

I have given this subject some long and serious thought..and the result is: any fish that is stupid enough to get on my line.
I voted for Aus Salmon. I have caught almost all the species on that list (except billfish, saratoga and murray cod) and I reckon just for sheer fun to catch (dont worry about edibility) the Sambos win everytime (apart from maybe yellowtail king and tuna(they are the only ones that would stand a chance when trying to swim in the opposite direction to a big sambo. Just my 2 cents.
I Like'em all anchovie > Zebra fish
but pound for pound i live to fight rat kings on hard body surface lures extra light gear , especialy when i can hand a loaded rod to my daughter
