great day fishing with my son

went over to the sandhills again this morning to get a feed of tings,left manly around 8 and cruised over at 30knts with the wind blowing 12-15knt sw.got over there and started to pull a few tings but the dreaded grinners where hammering us.plugged away till the turn of the tide and the tings come on the chew,got our bag again of 100 and headed for home in all but glassed out conditions.another great day on the water,did u usual hand out to a few neighbours..all caught on squid strips,

Good one, we were going to head over but the wife wanted to go boat show so we did that instead.

was the only boat fishing there today till just before i come home was great.the other week there would of been 15 odd boats there..hope the wind gods play nice for next weekend,want to head offshore

was going over even if it was ordinary.the youngfella was keen as.i though worse case i would anchor up if the drift was too fast.

I went over last Sunday and there were about 5 boats.

Rostered on VMR this weekend so will fit a trip in this week, hopefully tomorrow.

i went over this morning, monday, you left me a 100 to bag out on, Rosco, but you also left the grinners, most i have caught today, and not a record i wanted

yeah robsue u have to take the good and the bad.lol.think we ended up with 3/4 of a bucket of grinners which i will use for crab bait next weekend

Well done rosco & son I hope to get over there myself during the week thanks for the report. I am running out of room for storing crab bait but if I get a few pesky Grinners then ill have to start on the upstairs freezer. (Sorry dear!!!!)
