Snaps at Fraser
I just came back from Fraser on Friday after a week and wasn't the weather just crap , it made it very hard to fish. I am glad we decided to stay in a house at Orchid as it would have been hell camping on the beach south of Indian. The only place you could fish were the gutters at Waddy and in front of Orchid, but we still managed a few fish and they were well earned. The most surprising catch was a 50 cm Snapper caught in the gutter in front of Orchid on a Tailor rig, bloody hell it went like a freight train in the surf. We spoke to another group of fishos who said they had also pulled 3 snapper from the same gutter, but I don't know what size.So you just never know what you will catch at Fraser, bloody amazing!

Skipalong it was a gutter in front of the old Orchid Beach resort were all the building debris has slid down the bank.Big steve001 we caught all of our Tailor in this gutter ,also there was reports of a couple of nice Jew pulled from there as well. Tailor range from 60 cm down to legal sizes. I think the gutter were they launch the boats was pretty reasonable but because of the crap weather didn't see any boats launched. Early in the week we came across a couple of the boaties cleaning a nice haul on the beach north of Orchid
