catching tailor...

yeah Jus see you up there mate, got new ute this year normally have white hilux dual cab. mate rang me late today and they getting monsters at the little hole again at the peg at waddy. little ones at first cutting but big ones on flesh bait in the little hole at the peg. he seen 4 kg fish come out last night and also 8 to 10 kg jewies 3 off them get landed on flesh bait.

i leave on the 30th sept so up there for the opening of the closure area always fun and the big horse tailor off the rocks

will update during the week and on my return.

j_man..... the OLD FARTS returned about a week and a half ago and the tailor were certinaly there and at night i would suggest using wire only from the point that the sharks were around and that it gives u a bit of fun b4 they decide to take off....

as for the tailor they were certainly there in the inner and out gutter at waddy just near the exclussion marker...... they took slugs, bait, poppers and other tailor......

the cape didn't have any tailor when we were there....but the queenies were there along with the odd trevor....

i fished with 9lb and a 20lb leader most of the time in the front gutter but got smashed several times on the outer gutter with 9lb and 60lb leader.... mainly due to the fact that several fish followed the hooked one in...
